Junior Basketball Program Information
Competition Days
At Sharks Basketball Club, junior competitions are held throughout the week, offering young players plenty of opportunities to develop their skills and enjoy the game. The competition days are organized by age group as follows:

Monday: U12 Boys (Champ to D2 only), U16 Boys and U19 Girls

Tuesday: U14 Boys

Wednesday: U16 Girls and U18 Boys

Thursday: U12 Girls, U14 Girls and U23 Boys

Saturday: U8 Mixed & Girls, U10 Boys & Girls and U12 Boys

Games are primarily held at the following venues:

Cost of Playing Basketball
Before committing to the club, it's essential to understand the associated costs of playing in the Geelong United Basketball League. The fees are as follows:

Basketball Australia Game Development Levy: $5.50 per annum

Basketball Victoria Participant Licence: $29 per annum

Geelong United Registration Fee: $71.50 per season

Sharks Basketball Club Fee: $50 per season
The Shark Basketball Club fee covers training facility costs, competition fees (team entry, fines, etc.), and presentation day.

Geelong United Game Fee: $13.48 (Paid at every game played)

Sharks Basketball Club Uniform: $90 (one-off fee for a reversible singlet & shorts)
Registration Information
All players must complete the registration form and make the necessary payments before taking the court.

Training Schedule
Training sessions are held at The Geelong Arena (110 Victoria Street, North Geelong) on Sundays. The training times vary according to the age group. See the current training schedule for more information.
