Help Tell the Sharks Story – Join Our Media & Communications Team

Sharks Basketball Club is more than just basketball – it’s a community of players, families, coaches, and volunteers who make our club strong. With over 100 teams and still growing, we want to do a better job of telling our story and keeping our community connected and in the know.

We’re putting together a small Media & Communications Team to help share the Sharks story and communicate important club information. There are many ways you can get involved, including:

• Photography – capturing the excitement on and off the court.

• Videography – short clips, interviews, or highlights to bring Sharks moments to life.

• Social media – creating engaging posts that showcase our players and club spirit.

• Newsletter & website – helping ensure our community has the latest updates and news.

• Storytelling & media writing – highlighting the people and achievements that make Sharks special.

  
  

These roles are flexible – whether you can give:

• 1–2 hours a week,

• a few hours once a month, or

• a one-off project – there’s a way to contribute that will fit your availability.

No formal experience is required – just enthusiasm. If you have skills in photography, video, design, writing, or communications, that’s a bonus. Most importantly, we’re looking for people who want to help connect and celebrate our Sharks community.
