Summer27 Season – All You Need to Know

The Sharks are ready to hit the court again for an action-packed Summer 2027 season! Here’s everything you need to know to get locked in and game-ready this season.

Mid Aug - 1 Sep	Register for Summer27 (opens mid August) Register before 21st August for Early Bird Discount If you are registered with another club, you will require a clearance and cannot register until the current season ends. Please email geelongsharks@gmail.com to advise your intention to clear to Sharks.
ASAP	Order your uniform ASAP (8-10 week turnaround). Limited loan uniforms will be available for late orders.
23 & 30 Aug	Team Selections: All junior players intending on playing next season should attend team selection days.
1 Sep	Registrations close. Limited spots available from this point onwards.
16 Sep	Teams announced on website (Juniors & Seniors)
4 Oct	First training session
5 Oct	First game of the season
Uniform Shop Hours	Sundays (10am–12pm) during training

👥 Age Groups – Summer27 Season

This season age groups have changed from Winter26

• U8's: Born 2020–2021

• U10's: Born 2018–2019

• U12's: Born 2016–2017

• U14's: Born 2014–2015

• U16's: Born 2012–2013

• U18's (Boys Only): Born 2010–2011

• U19's (Girls Only): Born 2009–2011

• U20's (Boys Only): Born 2008–2009

• U23's (Boys Only): Born 2005–2007

📝 Registration

1. Opens: Mid August

2. Closes: Monday 1 September

3. Register Here: Summer27 Registration Form

4. Early registration is essential – some age groups may reach capacity.

5. If you are registered with another club, you will require a clearance. The clearance process will start automatically when you register for Sharks. If you are a current player you can only start this process after your last game with your current club. To ensure you have a spot with Sharks email geelongsharks@gmail.com and advise of your intent to clear.

📝 Team Selection

For Summer27, team selections will apply to all junior age groups except U20 Boys and U23 Boys. Players not currently registered with Sharks will need to register to trial here.

👕 Uniform Orders

• Deadline: ASAP 8 to 10 week turnaround.

• Order Online: Sharks Online Shop

• In-Person Shop Hours: Sundays, 10:00am–12:00pm (during training)

• Extended hours will be announced soon.

❌ Not Returning Next Season?

If your child won't be playing with the Sharks next season, please let us know as early as possible. This helps our age group coordinators plan team numbers, coaching, and registration accurately for everyone else.

Simply email Sharks with:

• Your child's name and current team/age group

• Confirmation they won't be returning next season

For U14, U16 and U18 Boys email geelongsharks.juniors@gmail.com

For all other age groups email geelongsharks@gmail.com
