🦈 Winter26 Season – All You Need to Know

The Sharks are ready to hit the court again for an action-packed Winter 2026 season! Here’s everything you need to know to get locked in and game-ready this season.

22 Feb - 25 Mar	Register for Winter26 – Limited availability in age groups now. If you are registered with another club, you will require a clearance and cannot register until the current season ends. Please email geelongsharks@gmail.com to advise your intention to clear to Sharks.
ASAP	Order your uniform ASAP (8-10week turnaround). Limited loan uniforms will be available for late orders.
15 Mar	Team Selection for U14B for Champ to Div 5 (by invitation only)
22 Mar	Team Selection for U12B for Monday Teams (by invitation only)
25 Mar	Registrations close. Limited spots available from this point onwards.
1 Apr	Teams announced on website (Juniors & Seniors)
19 Apr	First training session
20 Apr	First game of the season
Uniform Shop Hours	Sundays (10am–12pm) during training

👥 Age Groups – Winter26 Season

This season age groups will remain the same as Summer 2025/26.

• U8's: Born 2019–2020

• U10's: Born 2017–2018

• U12's: Born 2015–2016

• U14's: Born 2013–2014

• U16's: Born 2011–2012

• U18's (Boys Only): Born 2009–2010

• U19's (Girls Only): Born 2008–2010

• U20's (Boys Only): Born 2007–2008

• U23's (Boys Only): Born 2004–2006

📝 Registration

1. Opens: Sunday 22 February

2. Closes: Wednesday 25 March

3. Register Here: Winter 26 Registration Form

4. Early registration is essential – some age groups may reach capacity.

5. If you are registered with another club, you will require a clearance and cannot register until the current season ends. Please email geelongsharks@gmail.com to advise your intention to clear to Sharks.

   
   

🏀 Team Selections – Important Update

For Winter 2026, team selections will apply to:

• U14 Boys (U14B) – Sunday 15 March 2026

• U12 Boys (U12B) – Sunday 22 March 2026

Selections will be by invitation.

If your child would like to be considered for selection and are not currently playing U12B Monday or U14B D1 to 5 for Sharks, you may nominate to attend by emailing:

Selection session details (including time and venue) will be provided directly to nominated families. All other age groups will be graded and placed into teams based on registration numbers and previous season feedback.

👕 Uniform Orders

• Deadline: ASAP 8 to 10 week turnaround.

• Order Online: Sharks Online Shop

• In-Person Shop Hours: Sundays, 10:00am–12:00pm (during training)
