We are excited to share the first wave of teams for Summer26/27!

📈 Growing Sharks Community

• Girls team numbers have nearly doubled in 2 years — 18 to 32 teams

• A couple more players expected to move from U14 Girls Goblin Sharks to Sharks & Silky Sharks

• All player allocation to teams may still shift slightly during grading rounds

  
  

⚖️ How Teams Are Selected

• Ability and team balance (especially higher graded teams)

• Friend requests, where possible (non-graded teams)

• Creating a fun, supportive environment for all

  
  

📅 Season Snapshot

• Teams announced (U8, U10, U12 Boys and all Girls teams): 16 September

• Teams announced (U14+): Next week

• First training: 4 October

• First game: 5 October

• New to Sharks? Order your uniform ASAP

• Takes 8–10 weeks to arrive; loan stock is limited

• Every coach, assistant coach, TM and committee member volunteers their time

• Each team needs a Coach, Assistant Coach, and Team Manager

• Some teams still need support — roles can be shared

• A few teams have 6 players and are looking for 7–8
