Sharks Are Growing! Third U8 Girls Team Forming + U10 Spots Available for Summer 2025/26

Our Girls Program Is Expanding!

Thanks to the incredible growth in our junior girls numbers this year, we are excited to announce that Sharks Basketball will be adding a third U8 girls team for the Summer 2025/26 season!

We already have two fantastic U8 girls teams, full of energy, fun, and friendship — and with so many new families enquiring, it’s the perfect time to welcome even more girls into the program.

Whether your daughter is brand new to basketball or already loves playing at home, this is the ideal age to start. Our U8 program focuses on fun, fundamentals, teamwork, and confidence-building.

We also have 2 positions available in our U10 girls teams, so if your daughter is born in 2017–2018, we’d love to see her join the Sharks community too!

Key Information

• A loan uniform will be provided for the first season.

• Games are Saturday Mornings at either Beyond Bank Stadium (Belmont) or the Geelong Arena (North Geelong)

• Training is Sunday's 9am at the Geelong Arena during the school term.

• Summer 2025/26 season concludes at the end of Term 1 2026.

• U8 Girls are born in 2019 or 2020.
