Geelong United Basketball Association has confirmed the start dates for the all competitions.
· Seniors, U20s & U23s will commence from 8 November, 2021.
· All other age groups will commence from 15 November, 2021.
Contrary to previous communications, the Government and Basketball Victoria has now removed the requirement for participants in Community Sport to be fully vaccinated.
However, there are still some exceptions to this, as vaccination requirements are still in force at the council run facilities, namely the Arena in North Geelong and the Leisuretime Sports Precinct in Corio. At these two venues, anyone 16 years and over must provide proof of vaccination upon check-in.
Masks are also required at all venues (mandatory for those 12 and over), however Players, Coaches & Officials are exempt during participation.
Registration for Summer Season
We confirm that registrations are now open for all age groups.
As previously advised, club fees remain unchanged for Summer season at $40 for juniors and $50 for seniors. However, we will be providing a discount of $10 per player.

Now that we have a definitive start date we will be finalising team lists over the next few days.
Team lists for Seniors, U20s & U23s will be published in the next day or so, with all other age groups being confirmed early next week.

Training Schedule *
We are now able to recommence our usual training program. The schedule for this coming Sunday is as follows:
*Please note: As per Arena requirements, all attendees aged 16 years and over must be fully vaccinated. Only one parent or guardian per child is allowed to attend games or training sessions.
Uniforms
Our uniform coordinator and members of the committee will be available between 3pm and 5pm on Sunday 7 November for uniform fittings and purchases.
